HAI GUYS!
Imma talk about music, because I'm just that cool.
Okay, there are a couple of songs that are really freaking awesome. Well, more than a couple, but I have a few I really am obsessed with lately.
1. 3rd Planet by Modest Mouse.
WHY I LOVE IT: The lyrics are amazing, and the melodies are gorgeous. Plus, his voice... is lovely.
2. Yes by Coldplay
WHY I LOVE IT: His voice. It's beautiful.
3. The Greatest Story Never Told by Murray Gold
WHY I LOVE IT: Despite the fact that it have no lyrics (minus some chanting), this song is beautiful. It has some of the most amazing melodies I've ever heard in my entire life. Plus... Doctor Who, yo.
SO! Now I'D like to know: what are 3 of YOUR favorite songs, and why do you love them so much??
Anyway, in other news, I printed out a picture of the Master to hang on me wall, above my Doctor Who shelf. Because, um yeah, I have an addiction to that man. Heh.
Well, anyway... I also printed out that cheesy B-movie-esque picture from The Stolen Earth/Journey's End... y'know, with all the companions and such. It's lovely.
I really love the Master.
Also, I'm a creeper. Wanna know how? Well, friends. I'll tell you. So I made this Facebook profile for the Doctor (name's John Smith, hee hee) a while ago. Every once in a while I go on and update me status, talk to one of my fellow Doc Who friends, and the like. So, recently, I got the brilliant idea to make the Master one too!!! So I did. (HIS name is Harold Saxon. Woo!) And so I had him add the Doctor, and then my friend Rose. She was SO confused when he started spamming her... and even more when the Doctor started telling him to GTFO, essentially.
So yeah, I had about 3 browsers open with all the accounts open... it was fuuuuun.
YES, AUDREY IS INDEED A SPAZ WITH NO LIFE. GLAD YOU NOTICED.
TTFN,
Auddiebear

Why I Like the Master

An essay, by Audrey.
So. We all know the Master: he's evil, he's tried to destroy the human race, he enjoys killing people for fun, and he likes to torment the Doctor.
So, why the HELL, you say indignantly, would any sane person like him, much less LOVE him??
Oh, my friends. I will tell you why.
First, and most shallowly, I kinda think John Simm is attractive. >.>
But more importantly, I find his character fascinating! He's completely deranged, but there's a sort of brilliant geniusry (which is so not a word but should be) to his madness. He finds the most subtle ways of taking over, knows exactly what can break a person, even a strong person like the Doctor or Martha, and he knows just how to infiltrate the powers that be, and become them.
He's also hilarious as hell, despite him being a ruthless bastard that makes people want to stab him in the face. Because his lunacy leaves you chortling, even as he murders the human race, smiling down at them with the Doctor a crippled prisoner in his wake.
Yeah, he's horrible. He's demonic. He's the scariest person I'd never hope to meet.
But I love him like crazy cakes.
Anyway, off to watch The End of Time, cry like a baby, watch David Tennant's video diary, and go to bed.
It's a happy night in Nerdtopia.
Love and LOLz,
Audrey

DOCTOR WHO SPECIALS, nerdness, and LOLz
SO. Dearest readers.
Today, I went downtown with my darling brother, who is staring over my shoulder asking for his turn.... anyway, so we went to Bull Moose, a DVD/music/stuff store. I got the DOCTOR WHO COMPLETE SPECIALS DVD SET. FIVE, that's right, FIVE discs of awesome. And it has David Tennant's video diary, too. OH EM GEE. *has fangirl heart attack*
So yeah, that was awesome. Also, the cashier and I had a chat about David Tennant while I was paying. Oh joy. <3
And so tonight's plan is pretty much to watch The End of Time parts 1 and 2. I'm excited and also nervous, because I know David leaves, and I am gonna cry. But the Master is in these episodes!!!!! I LOVE HIM.
I think he might have to make an appearance in my fanfic. I'm serious. GOOD LORD. I am a nerd and I need help.

So, I might post at some point a blog about WHY I love the Master. Because I know many think I am freaky.
Welp, that's all for now, readers. Off to read some Othello... *cries* I don't like that book. Damn.
And then... study for Bio... and then... call Rose... and then....
Anyway. Rambling. Laugh out loud.
Love and lemmings,
Auddie

thoughts for the day
1. Doctor Who theme song = best way to wake up each day.
2. Ice cream is the best food in the world.
3. This man has too much attractiveness to be human. He must be an alien:

4. It's the weekend. This is a very good thing.
5. I'm reading this book called "Unwind." If you're into sci-fi/futuristic novels (i.e. Feed, The Giver, The hunger Games ect.) you'll like it. I'm over halfway through because I've been steadily reading it all day. Yeah. Even in class. But honestly, you don't need to pay too much attention in computer applications.
6. I'm really ready to be done with sophomore year. Being a junior is going to be so much more fun: I'll be out of gym, the most hated class of my day; I'll be IN intro to psychology, which will be extremely awesome, and most of all, I'll never have to deal with my witch of an English teacher again, and that's putting it nicely.
7. I'm really extremely excited for the new season of Doctor Who. At first, I was really, REALLY mad that David Tennant was leaving the show, because, as you should have noticed, I'm in love with the man. But I was also sad because since Russel T. Davies is ALSO no long lead writer, a lot of my favorite characters (Rose, Donna, Martha, Jack, The Master as played by John Simm) are also going to be gone, most likely. And that depresses me that we may not see them ever again. I love Donna more than anyone normal should, and I hate the fate she has to endure. It's the worst of the three fates the Doctor's women have suffered in the past 4 seasons, in my opinion.
I also love the Master, so much it's creepy. I have yet to see The End of Time, but I know he basically as good as dies. At any rate, he's gone. And hell, but I'm sad! He's such an amazing villain, I want him to stay forever!!!
But in the end, my thoughts stand thus:
a) Matt Smith looks really great from what I've seen.
b) I don't know how I'll feel about Amy Pond... I get a little Rose Tyler vibe from the trailer, and even though I like Rose she was a bit of a possessive brat.
c) I'm so excited for the return of the weeping angels!!!
9... no, 8.... I feel like the Doctor... um, H. I really want to get ice cream right now. And watch The End of Time. Gotta wait for it to come out on Netflix...
Love and lemmings,
Audrey

Golden lads and girls all must, as chimney-sweepers, come to dust.
So. Topics for today include:
-Shakespeare
-The Master
-Writer's Block
-Carl Hiaasen
SHAKESPEARE:
Dude, how awesome was he???!!! He's so hilarious and at the same time he has some extremely poignant lines, like that one in the title, that just send chills down my spine. Somehow, this one is still one of my favorites: "These violent delights have violent ends." Which is from Romeo and Juliet. Ah, so true. <3
THE MASTER:
Sorry, but I have an unhealthy obsession with this guy. Hot DAMN.
WRITER'S BLOCK:
Kinda gone for the Doctor Who fanfic, notsomuch for my other stuff. Oh well.
CARL HIAASEN:
OH MY GOD. He's amaaaaazing. Basket Case is the FUNNIEST book ever. It's also an amazing adventure/murder mystery and I LOVE it.
So, that's all for now. Read Basket Case, anything by Shakespeare, and... my fanfic!!! And go watch some Doctor Who. Season 3 finale FOR THE WIN.

Time Lord Victorious, Doctor Who Fan Videos and Barty Crouch Jr.
So, I watched Waters of Mars last night!
..spoiler alert..
HOLY WHAT THE HECK???!!! The Doctor was so.... insane! He was all mean and crazy! And those aliens were beyond disturbing. I didn't like their eyes.

I really want to see The End of Time now. Because the Doctor apparently redeems himself and besides, my all-time favorite villain ever is in The End Of Time.

In related-ish news, I have a little rant about Harry Potter for you.
The fourth movie is great and horrible at the same time.
THE GOODS:
1. Daniel Radcliffe, aka Harry, has amazingly improved acting skills in this movie.
2. RPatz (Cedward) isnt nearly as...unattractive in this movie. Probably because he actually has blood.
3. Ron is gawjus as always.
4. Barty Crouch Jr. Need I say more?

THE BADS:
1. Hermione. *headdesks* I'm sorry, I really am, but I just don't think Emma Watson is a great actress. And she's too pretty. So when she goes out in Yule Ball, it's not that shocking like it should be.
2. Dumbledore is MEAN!!! It's quite scary.
3. Ron gets such a small part in this movie, and is made to look like an idiot.
4. Fred and George needed more air time. They are brilliant.
Anyway, overall I love the movie, but my favorite is still #5, followed closely by #3.
MORE MUSIC RECOMMENDATIONS:
1. Opheliac by Emilie Autumn
2. Nighttiming by Coconut Records
3. Street Spirit (Fade Out) by Radiohead
AND IN CONCLUSION:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uNGEnUhypyc
This is quite possibly the most brilliant fan video for Doctor Who I've ever seen. It made me cry a little. It's so amazing. You have to watch it.

So y'know what's depressing?
When no one comments on your blog. That's what.
It's my life's goal to meet someone named Purdy Peaches Murgatroid. Just sayin'.
10 REASONS WHY DOCTOR WHO IS THE BEST THING IN MY LIFE:
10. The Doctor is supermegafoxyawesomehot.
9. The Master is also quite attractive.
8. Donna is the MOST AWESOME HUMAN EVER.
7. The TARDIS is so badass.
6. The sonic screwdriver is the BEST. DEVICE. EVER. CREATED.
5. The Doctor can regrow his hand. And it's a fightin' hand!
4. Every episode has a fantastic new tale that is completely brilliant. (Except the Lazarus Experiment. Sorry, but that was a fail.)
3. The acting is INCREDIBLE.
2. The Doctor? He's amazing in so many ways. Gotta say it 100000 times, yeah.
1. THE MAIN REASON IS: it has made me so much more interested in the stars, the universe, in learning, caring about people, saving the universe, and being a supergenius.
I have such an obsession. I love that show with ever fibre of my BEING.
*sighs happily*
So. Y'know what sucks? We can't go to the Harry Potter exhibit!!!! D:
*le sigh* but we're having our own HP shebang on Sunday. So woo. And I'm babysitting tomorrow! Yaaaaay money! XD
Anyway. If you comment, I'll give you a cookie!!! *is a horrible shallow briber who needs comments to inflate my punctured ego*
Yeah.
Picture of extreme depression/made me cry/oh my god no?

-Audrey, who is now very sad because I looked at that picture. *clings* I love you, Ten. Don't go. ):

like the geek in the pink
Jason Mraz is awesome.
In other news...
Today is Music Recommendation Saturday! I'm going to name 3 epic songs, and you go listen to them and become more awesome because of it.
1. The Scientist by Coldplay.
2. The Words by PSAPP
3. The Doctor's Theme Season 4 by Murray Gold
So yesterday I showed my mom the Season 3 finale of Doctor Who (The Sound of Drums/Last of the Time Lords). It was sooooo good. I mean, I'd seen it before, but GAH! I mean, the Master is my favorite villain of all time. He's too epic for words.
I also have a master-plan (ha! pun intended there... funny? no?) for tonight, which includes watching a bunch of YouTube videos per instructed by my friends in Biology, and watching some classic Who, mostly 4th and 5th Doctors. Because 4 is awesome, and 5 looks like he's awesome.
Anyway, here come the drums.
I mean... bye.
