OMG Harry! From Movie 7! AAAA!

Well, long time no post, eh guys?

I am feeling so lazy and lethargic lately. I don't know what to do with myself, but I don't really want to do anything except lay on the couch and watch Doctor Who for 8 billion hours anyway.

I took down my glow-in-the-dark stars and Doctor Who posters and now I can't fall asleep. I hate packing!!! D:
I finished Animal Farm, the last book I'll be reading in English class! It was very very disturbing, but it was good and an easy read. It's only like 90 pages so I'd recommend it!
Um what else... I watched this fantastic documentary last night called We Are Wizards, it was about the Harry Potter fandom. I adored it. It's ironic how so many Christians think that Harry Potter is encouraging, like, devil worship or something; the main theme of Harry Potter has always been good versus evil, self sacrifice, and love and friendship, a lot of which are very Christian themes. Anyway, I love Harry Potter to death, and Wrock (wizard rock) is amazing. So is Trock (time lord rock). XD NERDS FTW!

Anyway, I only have one and a half weeks of school left!!! I don't know what I'm going to do with myself... I should probably attempt to study for finals this weekend, since they start on Friday, but my brain just doesn't want to. Gaaaaaah.

I leave in just under 3 weeks. O_O
Well, that's all for now, mi compadres.
Adieu,
Audrey

in which I bleed and read books about demigods.

Today, I finished the fourth Percy Jackson and the Olympians book (The Battle of the Labyrinth) and holy cow, it's amazing.

I have this habit, you see, of coming into books by seeing the movie. Horrible, I know, but what can I say?
For example, when I was about 5 my dad tried reading me the first Harry Potter book. Being 5, I said "noooo" because at five I liked The Boxcar Children. By the time I was 7, the first movie had come out. I went to see it, and... well, how could you not love it??

So, I went home and picked up the first book, and the rest is history. By the time the second movie came out, I'd read the first four books and was thoroughly addicted. Now some people might say I'm not a TRUE book fan if I saw the movie first, but I beg to differ. I think that if the first movie, one of the only ones that stayed true to the book I might add, inspired me to read the books and fall in love with the characters because of how they were written (NOT because they were hot or something because, come on, I was seven) then that's a GOOD thing.

Anyway, Percy Jackson was the same way. My 12-year-old brother started reading them last year, and tried to get me to read The Lightning Thief. I got all the way to right after they got out of the Lotus Casino, and then got bored and started re-reading a Doctor Who book instead. But then the movie came out. And I was PISSED, because they changed everything!!! And the only attractive character (Luke) was killed, which I was fairly certain didn't happen in the books. So I picked up the Lightning Thief and read it. Then I grabbed Logan, shook him by the shoulders, and demanded book two. He informed me he only owned books one, four, and five. I nearly exploded. So I had to wait for our next library visit to gobble up books 2 and 3.

Now I've finally finished book 4, and with only one book left to go, I can hardly believe I'm nearly at the end. I feel like I'm reading Harry Potter 7 all over again; excited, but sad.

As a complete opposite, I got into Doctor Who via the books. My darling bestie, Rose, loved Doctor Who. I'd never heard of it, so she loaned me one of the novels. I believe it was Peacemaker (one starring Ten and Martha). I loved it at once. I read Forever Autumn and had started another one before I even saw my first episode (which, for the curious, was The Runaway Bride. I freaking love Donna. I did from the moment I saw that). Now, Doctor Who is practically my life.

SPEAKING OF, I'm rewatching The End of Time tonight hopefully. I'm really excited, because I loved that episode. It was sad, but it was also brilliant. I love the Master. And the Doctor.

Anyway. I cut my finger on a broken cup. It hurts.

This has been a super long post!!!! So... bye!

HARRY POTTER EXHIBITION

Pictures are limited to... 2. Because we weren't allowed to take pics inside the exhibit. BUT they had THIS beauty in the lobby...

Ron's chess piece from the Sorcerer's Stone!!!! 8D

And there was this sign:

It was truly awesome. If you get the chance, you've gotta go see it.

~Auddie

HARRY POTTER IS AWESOME

And so is the Harry Potter Exhibition!!!!!!!! 8D

I cannot find where my darling mummy put the camera, so pics will be up tomorrow-ish. Woo!

Basically, it was awesome, and I got an HP 6 poster. It has Draco on it. JOY.

(that's what it looks like)

In other news, school starts again on Monday. MEH, I say, MEH. But oh well. I am kind of dying of boredom.

I'm reading this AWESOME book by Carl Hiaasen, called Basket Case. It's hysterical, I love it. ALSO, the third Hunger Games book, Mockingjay, comes out soonish!!!! SO MUCH JOYFULNESS.

And... what else. OH, I know... MUSIC. RECOMMENDATIONS.

1. Inflammatory Writ by Joanna Newsom
2. Pretty much anything by My Chemical Romance
3. Homecoming by Green Day

Anyway, I love music. I really, really do. It makes me so happy. *sighs contentedly*

SO. For readers of my stories on me webbie...

SECRETS: ...er, no progress. *headdesks* Sad, considering this is the one I wanna publish.
DUST OFF YOUR CONVERSE: ALMOST done with episode one!!!! I swear, I have like one more scene to write and I'll post it. *squees* and I already have 19 pages of episode 2 written. JOYYYYY.

Anyways, I'm exhausted. And hungry. And had too much sugar/coffee today.

COFFEE IS AMAZING.

Time Lord Victorious, Doctor Who Fan Videos and Barty Crouch Jr.

So, I watched Waters of Mars last night!

..spoiler alert..

HOLY WHAT THE HECK???!!! The Doctor was so.... insane! He was all mean and crazy! And those aliens were beyond disturbing. I didn't like their eyes.

I really want to see The End of Time now. Because the Doctor apparently redeems himself and besides, my all-time favorite villain ever is in The End Of Time.

In related-ish news, I have a little rant about Harry Potter for you.

The fourth movie is great and horrible at the same time.

THE GOODS:
1. Daniel Radcliffe, aka Harry, has amazingly improved acting skills in this movie.
2. RPatz (Cedward) isnt nearly as...unattractive in this movie. Probably because he actually has blood.
3. Ron is gawjus as always.
4. Barty Crouch Jr. Need I say more?

THE BADS:
1. Hermione. *headdesks* I'm sorry, I really am, but I just don't think Emma Watson is a great actress. And she's too pretty. So when she goes out in Yule Ball, it's not that shocking like it should be.
2. Dumbledore is MEAN!!! It's quite scary.
3. Ron gets such a small part in this movie, and is made to look like an idiot.
4. Fred and George needed more air time. They are brilliant.

Anyway, overall I love the movie, but my favorite is still #5, followed closely by #3.

MORE MUSIC RECOMMENDATIONS:
1. Opheliac by Emilie Autumn
2. Nighttiming by Coconut Records
3. Street Spirit (Fade Out) by Radiohead

AND IN CONCLUSION:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uNGEnUhypyc

This is quite possibly the most brilliant fan video for Doctor Who I've ever seen. It made me cry a little. It's so amazing. You have to watch it.

Captain Kirk > Spock, and WATERS OF MARS

No offense, Spock fans. But Kirk has always been hotter, no matter who plays him. HOT DAMN.

Ahem. Back to srs bsns.

So my brother and I made a scary video last night. Suffice to say... a Buddha statue became a mass murderer and my retainer accidentally fell out onto the bed.

Yep. Normal stuff, y'know?

SO IN EXCITING NEWS OF EXCITINGNESS!!!!, Waters Of Mars came in the mail today from Netflix. I AM SO EXCITED. We're watching it tonight after we watch Harry Potter 4. SO. MUCH. WIN. I'm so pumped.

Anyway, Imma leave you with this beautiful picture of my favoritest Star Ship Captain...

I wonder if they have action figures....

OH I forgot to do a music recommendation before, so here it is now:

1. Hi by Psapp
2. Sweating Bullets by Megadeth (it's funny, trust me)
3. Yes by Coldplay

David Tennant likes Coldplay, you know.

Happy Valentine's Day!

...*wonders why no one has commented lately*

And so, depression sinks in.

ANYWAY. Had a HP party today. Butterbeer was delicious, soundtracks are made of awesome, and the first movie is adorable.

I attempted to work on my fanfic of Doctor Who today... I created this brilliantly elaborate explanation as to how all the Doc Who-ness could be real... it's kind of amazing.

Anyway, my brain is full of dust bunnies, but no good plot ideas for my original novel. So I'm gonna go crawl into a hole, mkay?

Comments make the world go round!

So y'know what's depressing?

When no one comments on your blog. That's what.

It's my life's goal to meet someone named Purdy Peaches Murgatroid. Just sayin'.

10 REASONS WHY DOCTOR WHO IS THE BEST THING IN MY LIFE:

10. The Doctor is supermegafoxyawesomehot.
9. The Master is also quite attractive.
8. Donna is the MOST AWESOME HUMAN EVER.
7. The TARDIS is so badass.
6. The sonic screwdriver is the BEST. DEVICE. EVER. CREATED.
5. The Doctor can regrow his hand. And it's a fightin' hand!
4. Every episode has a fantastic new tale that is completely brilliant. (Except the Lazarus Experiment. Sorry, but that was a fail.)
3. The acting is INCREDIBLE.
2. The Doctor? He's amazing in so many ways. Gotta say it 100000 times, yeah.
1. THE MAIN REASON IS: it has made me so much more interested in the stars, the universe, in learning, caring about people, saving the universe, and being a supergenius.

I have such an obsession. I love that show with ever fibre of my BEING.

*sighs happily*

So. Y'know what sucks? We can't go to the Harry Potter exhibit!!!! D:

*le sigh* but we're having our own HP shebang on Sunday. So woo. And I'm babysitting tomorrow! Yaaaaay money! XD

Anyway. If you comment, I'll give you a cookie!!! *is a horrible shallow briber who needs comments to inflate my punctured ego*

Yeah.

Picture of extreme depression/made me cry/oh my god no?

-Audrey, who is now very sad because I looked at that picture. *clings* I love you, Ten. Don't go. ):

want your bad romance

Lady Gaga scares me. But I love her.

In news of me:

1. I GOT MY PACKAGE FROM SIEWWA! Six discs of 7 years of friendship. Oh my god, I am so excited to watch them all. :D
2. I got a follower!!! *waves*
3. I got a B- on my English paper. Not my best work, but I was fearing a C or below, so hey-ho, good enough for me.

That's all, really. My Donna action figure STILL hasn't arrived, but hopefully soon. Doctor has been companion-less for over a year now. *pokes him fondly*

Anyway, only 3 more days till break! And then that Harry Potter exhibit in Boston!!!! EXCITED SQUEAL IN 3... 2...1...
SQUEEEEEEEE!!!!

*is obsessed*

She said that her name was Billie Jean

and she caused a scene.

Yeah. Nothing beats Michael Jackson.

Soooo. Today's agenda is as follows:

1. Read some more R+J for English.
2. Young Writer's Council meeting! Too bad I haven't been able to write anything other than crap and Doctor Who fanfiction (and sometimes crappy Doctor Who fanfiction) for the past month and a half. Pardon me while I headdesk.
3. Use the new CORDLESS phone. I am so pumped about this, you don't even know. I can actually talk in my bedroom now. Life. Is. Good.

So yesterday I watched the funniest video ever on YouTube. It's called IDEK 9 1/2, and I was in tears. Look it up, seriously. IDEK 10 is good too, but don't watch the Valentine's Day one. It's kind of gross.

So I have this thing where whenever I watch a really hilarious video blog or read a particularly eloquent blog post, I go, "Man, I could do that."
But then I try and of course no one gives a rat's fart what I do. And it really makes me wonder: what IS it that makes one person have 120000 followers and one person have 0? Where does that charm lie? In the voice? The hair? The special effects? The lack of punctuation and grammar?

Anyway, who knows.

Peace out, my homies!

-Audrey

P.S. who caught the Harry Potter reference in this blog? If you did, you winz the cookiez.
